Meet Carly
Carly Scott is a diligent, friendly, and open-minded designer with a knack for problem-solving and time-management. While pursuing a degree in Graphic Design at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, she developed an interest particularly in editorial design, and gained experience in human-centered design, UI/UX design, and brand identity design. With Adobe InDesign as a strength, Carly has developed multi-page typeset-focused projects that are compelling while also functional. She also completed a minor in psychology as mental health advocacy is a cause close to her heart. Besides being a designer, Carly is also a painter with a focus on landscapes in an impressionistic style. During the summer of 2022, she studied oil painting in Florence, Italy which elevated her knowledge of this medium and history. Carly is a multidisciplinary designer who enjoys bringing pieces of her personality into her work. In her free time, you can find her with her friends, hiking, playing with her four Shih Tzus, or watching her favorite TV show Big Bang Theory.
