Meet Carly
Carly Scott is a graphic designer with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois, and she’s passionate about using design to make a positive impact. Design is a powerful tool for improving people’s lives, and she hopes to use this tool to promote indie authors, non-profits, startups, and small businesses as well as raise awareness about important causes such as mental health advocacy, environmental protection and equality. Carly is proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, and loves incorporating physical elements—like hand-painted artwork or textures—into her designs whenever possible. Outside of design, Carly enjoys painting, crochet, and embroidery. She is particularly drawn to brand and editorial design, and she’s excited to continue developing her skills in these areas.
